General Printing and Cutting Guidelines for Silhouette Machines
I have prepared video instructions on YouTube to help guide you through the process of how to print and cut our sticker sheets/kits in Silhouette Studio.
General Printing Guidelines For Printable Stickers (outside of Silhouette Studio)
- If you have 5x7” sized sticker paper (simply cutting your sticker paper down to 5x7” size will work) you can set your paper size to 5x7” and you’ll be set to print your sticker sheet.
- As a side note, you could add two 5x7 files side by side on a Letter (8.5x11) or A4 size canvas and print two files at a time, like the image below.
- Make sure that you set your printer to print the sticker sheets at 100% (actual size) otherwise things will get cut off and things will get all wonky.
- Choose “print borderless” setting when selecting your paper size (i.e. no margins) to make sure that the whole page is included in the print job.
- Colors of the stickers may look differently than they do on your computer screen. Additionally, each printer and ink are different. We are not responsible for the final result.
General Printing and Cutting Guidelines for Cricut Machines
- Each web browser has different settings for printable area size in online Design Space.
- Safari / Firefox / Explorer: 6x8.5 inches
- Google Chrome: 5.5x8 inches
- The width of each PNG in the sticker kit is 6 inches. If you use Design Space in Google Chrome, you will need to resize the PNGs accordingly.
-
Printing and cutting steps:
- Log in into your online Design Space
- Create new project
- Upload Images
- Browse
- Choose one of the PNG files with stickers
- Choose Complex Image

You will need to resize the inserted PNG. Go to Edit and change the width of the PNG to 6
inches. Keep the aspect ratio locked so that the height of the image can be adjusted
automatically. - Make sure your Cricut is now connected to your PC. Click GO and print your sticker sheet. Keep in mind general printing guidelines - see above.
- Set the dial to Vinyl/Washi for kiss cut effect. Position your printed sheet on your mat (as shown in the preview on your screen), load it to your Cricut and press Go.
