Ravage by Tillie Cole was that story I’ve been looking for, wanting to dive into and get lost in. Goodness… Shoot, it’s been a while since I’ve immersed myself into a Tillie Cole story, but my gosh how could I forget how much her stories can impact me?! I knew that with each story in the Scarred Souls series that the characters were tied to each other in some way, but no way could I have ever imagined the way Ravage turned out. Talk about heartache in 500 pages or less! I have yet to read an author that can match Cole’s versatility and unique style of writing dark romances. With each story she writes, whether you end up loving the book in its entirety or not, I bet you were in some way emotionally touched and a mark was left on your soul from the story she told. Guaranteed, hands […]

After finishing Raze I didn’t think that another character could threaten the place that Luca had been stamped with his name. Zaal gave him a run for his money in Reap by Tillie Cole. Woo-wee! “You are twenty-nine, Zaal. That man, that sick man you call ‘Master’ has held you captive for over twenty years.” -Luca to Zaal, Reap by Tillie Cole While Reap kept me engaged […]

Oh my freaking goodness!!! Why-o-why did it have to end?! I think in all honesty I can say that Raze by Tillie Cole has topped my favorite for this year. There is nothing that I could find wrong with this book, this book gripped me and didn’t let go, not that I wanted it to. Usually when a frequent author of mine comes out with new material I am apprehensive about reading it, all it takes is for that book to be bad in my eyes and that author has been ruined for me (sad but true). That fear took a break or just knew that it better not mess with Tillie Cole when she writes and publishes something. As I was reading all I could think to myself is, “Tillie Cole I seriously do not understand how the heck you’re able to produce these amazing and groundbreaking stories!” I […]
